Refund Policy for Bellarine Bin Hire

1. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your skip bin booking, please review the following guidelines:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery, you are entitled to a full refund of the hire cost.

  • No Refund: Once the skip bin has been delivered to your site, no refund will be issued, even if you choose not to use the bin.

 


 

2. Changes to Booking

If you need to change the size of the bin or the delivery date, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • No Additional Charge: Changes made more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will incur no extra charges unless the bin size requested for the swap is larger than what was originally ordered.

  • Additional Charges: Changes made within 24 hours of delivery may result in additional charges depending on availability and the nature of the change.

 


 

3. Refund Process

If your cancellation or change qualifies for a refund, the refund will be processed in the original payment method within 7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

 


 

4. Incorrect Delivery or Bin Size

In the unlikely event that we deliver the wrong bin size or make an error with your order:

  • Replacement: We will provide a replacement bin of the correct size at no additional cost.

 


 

5. Refunds for Damaged or Defective Bins

If a bin is delivered in poor condition or unusable, you must notify us immediately:

  • Replacement or Refund: We will arrange a replacement skip bin at no extra charge or offer a full refund if you decide not to proceed with the hire.

 


 

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Overloaded Bins: If a skip bin exceeds the maximum fill level, additional fees may apply, and no refunds will be issued.

  • Prohibited Items: No refunds will be issued for bins containing prohibited items, per our terms and conditions.

  • Late Collection Requests: If you request an extension on the bin hire period and the bin has already been scheduled for pickup, no refunds will be given for any unused hire period.
